Jack Tabb III
Bio

Short

Jack Tabb III played Division I football at North Carolina and spent time with the New Orleans Saints. He coached at Michigan State and North Texas, then got certified by the NFLPA. He still represents players, and he invests on the money side of sport. He speaks on what that whole path taught him about NIL, the college sports economy, and what happens when the game ends.

Long

Jack Tabb III has been the athlete, the coach, the agent, and the investor — usually in rooms where the other three weren't present.

He played Division I football at the University of North Carolina on scholarship, then spent time with the New Orleans Saints. He moved to the other side of the desk as a coach at Michigan State and the University of North Texas, where he recruited the same families he now speaks to. He then got certified by the NFLPA and partnered with JB Sports, negotiating for professional players. He is still certified and still working. He also invests, which is how he learned where athlete money actually goes and what a short earning window costs when you get it wrong.

That combination is the reason he gets booked. He isn't reporting on the college sports economy from outside it — he's been paid by it, cut by it, and has negotiated inside it. Audiences get the version of the conversation that usually happens after the microphones are off.
